Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette: Review and Swatches!

So.... Finals are done with, which means I have my freedom back! :) On my first day back home I stopped by Sephora to check out Urban Decay's new palettes, and ended up buying something completely different. As you may already know, Tarina Tarantino will no longer be sold at Sephora; I do think they are planning to open free-standing stores sometime in the near future, but for now all of their stuff is on sale at Sephora!
This palette normally retails for around $45 and I snagged it up for $27. This takes each of the blushes down to around $7 each, which was irresistible!

Today's eyeliner is one that has been making regular appearances in my everyday makeup routine :) Milani's Color Play eye liner in White Line is a felt-tip white liquid liner. This is one of the few white eyeliners that I've found to be opaque and easy to apply.

Today's post is on one of the most affordable brands at the drugstore. Wet 'N' Wild has always had a bit of a reputation for being low quality, "tacky" makeup, but in the past year and a half, they've really vamped up their image. Their blushes and eyeshadows are amongst the best and cheapest in the drugstore, which makes them amazing for beauty junkies on a budget.

This trio is called "Knock On Wood," and features a light satin pink, a medium shimmery brown, and a  deep, red burgundy.

Today's lip shade is a cult favorite: NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo. NYX's lip creams are supposed to be opaque, matte, and (obviously) soft. Monte Carlo is a bright pink red.

Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Natural for Hazel Eyes

Today I have one of the Physician's Formula shimmer strips for hazel eyes. I picked this one up because I really liked the look of those pink shades. This palette is a combination of taupe, pink, and icy champagne colors, which make very natural combinations.

Pampered: LUSH Rose Jam Bubbleroon

Hey, guys!

Today's LUSH product is one of their new Bubbleroons. I love the concept of these! While I have never tried an actual macaron, I am convinced they are the most delicious things on this planet. I can just picture myself eating a Ladurée macaron in Louboutins and coming home to a Bubbleroon bath... I digress.

This particular Bubbleroon is Rose Jam. It's a soft pink bubble bar in the shape of a macaron, and it is significantly more creamy and moisturizing than ordinary bubble bars from LUSH.

Tarina Tarantino is a brand that I don't hear about too often, which surprises me considering what great quality it puts out! The product I got is the Eye Dream Highlight Duo in Moon Opal/Iris Plume, which has a gorgeous taupe-lilac shade and a purple tinged champagne highlight shade.

Worth The Hype? Urban Decay's "Build Your Own" Palette

Brace yourselves....

Disappointment is coming.

We all know Urban Decay. They are a brand that made themselves famous for their palettes, like the NAKED and NAKED2, the Book of Shadows, Anniversary Palettes, Midnight Emergency, etc. What is most appealing about these famous palettes is that they offer full-sized, higher-end quality eyeshadows for a very low price. The NAKED palette, a cult favorite, contains 12 eyeshadows, a mini primer, and a brush or eyeliner for $48. That means that every item in the palette has a $3.50 price tag on it, when the eyeshadows themselves are worth $18 on their own. That is one of the reasons so many people go to Urban Decay, because you get $250 worth of product for $50.

NYX Lipsticks Swatches!

It seems I've been in a pink lipstick mood, because I also picked up two NYX lipsticks around the same time I bought Viva Glam Nicki. I've always heard good things about NYX as a whole, and honestly, I've never actually believed any of it. Despite the fact that I've never purchased a disappointing product from them, I keep having doubts about the brand...
