NAKED2 Palette Swatches and Review!

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and I have a couple of treats for you all! The first is an in-depth review of Urban Decay's new NAKED2 Palette. This palette was released roughly a month ago, and I ordered it as soon as the second batch (the first sold out within two hours) went on sale. I had it sent to my parents' house and I set a challenge for the Christmas break: I would only use the NAKED2 palette for an entire month, nothing else, (except two eyeshadows from MAC) to see whether or not this palette lives up to the hype.

It's Officially Time for NAKED2

Hello everyone!!

Urban Decay officially released the long-anticipated (yeah, right... I found out yesterday...) sequel to the best-selling NAKED palette!! This new version is a much more taupe-based neutral palette, and has a lot more variety than the original did. This is definitely on my wishlist!!!

NAKED Palette 2?

Hi, everyone!

So. Here's the deal. Urban Decay has been TAUNTING its followers on Twitter for about a week now with pictures of what may or may not be a second edition of their best-selling NAKED Palette! The first palette is famous for its versatility and its wide range of multi-purpose neutral eyeshadows. It's also (in my opinion) a great value! The palette now is around $48 and includes 12 eyeshadows, a mini Primer Potion, and one eyeliner or eyeshadow brush (depending on when you purchased it.)

NOTD: Revlon Smoky Canvas

Hey everyone!

This has been a long time coming, and I finally have the time to get back in the swing of posting on my blog AND keeping up with my YouTube channel! While today is NOTD day, I will mention that a haul video (featuring Hautelook and LORAC) is forthcoming, so watch out for that!

Meanwhile, enjoy one of my favorite nail shades for fall/winter!

NOTD: Revlon Copper Penny

Hello, everyone.

My name is Estefania, and I am a shopaholic. It's a problem.
Today's NOTD is Revlon's Copper Penny! I have heard many raves online about this shade, and nearly all of them claim that it is the exact color of a brand-new penny.

Well.... That sounds like a challenge to me!

You're Making Me Blush!

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share one of the best blushes I've ever tried. Drugstore blushes have never really done it for me (with one exception), and I've swatched almost all of the blushes at Sephora and Ulta. I don't like shimmer or glitter on my face, and Tarte makes the best matte blushes I've ever tried.

NOTD: Revlon Matte Suede

When life gives you colors, make them matte.

I'll admit that recently, my addiction to nail polish has escalated to frightening heights. Fortunately, that just means I have more NOTD posts coming this way!! Today's shade is one of my new favorites! It's called "Ruby Ribbon," and is from Revlon's Matte Suede collection.

Frosted Over

...Are you still there?

I'm back! With more product reviews!! And less time to do them in!!! :) So I posted about the release of MAC's Glitter and Ice collection last week, and it has arrived!!! I have to say that I was not very impressed by the majority of the products (the eyeshadow palettes in the Ice Parade were really nothing special), but I did find a few gems in the collection, and I think you all will just LOVE this.

NOTD: Trendy Twist

Hi, everyone!!

I've been totally swamped with schoolwork lately (I can't go to MAC with a clean conscience unless I do well in school.... how's that for motivation?), and so I haven't been able to post every day, as I'd like to! I do, however, want to show you my nail of the day (it has been removed. RIP.). It was inspired by the YSL nail polish ad campaign that came out a couple of months ago, and is a combination of polishes in what I think is a more fun and modern version of the french manicure :)

Product Review: BUXOM Lash Mascara

 Hi, everyone!!!

I've got a product review for you guys!  Remember that Bare Minerals kit I picked up about a week ago? I had mentioned that it came with a full-sized BUXOM Lash Mascara, which gets a lot of hype, so I've been using it this past week in order to be able to give you guys a fair review of it.

My lashes in particularly flattering light ;)

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to post a quick update on what's next on the blog because I've got some exciting news!! I just made an appointment to go try out MAC's new Holiday Collection, which is super edgy! It's a winter-wonderland themed collection, with TONS of different sets of products! Anything from eyeshadow palettes to paint pots to brush sets! I am very excited to go try these out (oh, don't worry. I will document it all. Oh, yes.)
I just love the packaging!! They all look like snowglobes to me :)

Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadow Swatches and Review!

Hi everyone!

Recently, some friends and I took a little road trip to do some serious shopping, and I really did try my best to buy clothes, but ended up expanding my makeup collection... Most of my purchases were over in the cosmetics department (on sale, though... that justifies it, right??), and I want to share all these great finds with you!

My favorite lipgloss!! ....For now.

Hi everyone!

I don't know about you, but where I live, fall weather arrived overnight, which meant I have been spending my mornings digging my boots and sweaters out of storage, and I've been trying out new fall makeup looks for this season! One of my favorite trends for fall is the bright raspberry lip, which I like to pair with a neutral eye. For some reason, this bright pink lip looks amazing with fall clothing (go figure).

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation

Hi everyone!

I'll admit, I'm not the most experienced when it comes to MAC products, having been introduced to them (and convinced to splurge on them) only recently. I will eventually talk about my favorite MAC products, but for now I want to rave about my most recent acquisition!!

MAC's Pro Sculpt Foundation is a medium coverage, liquid foundation with a natural finish. I say medium coverage, and I mean it. Most foundations I've tried before that claim to be medium coverage are actually more on the sheer, buildable side, but not this one. The smallest amount of this foundation will give you medium coverage (i.e., take care of any minor blemishes, discoloration, scars, or redness) as well as a fresh, natural look.
I've been loving this foundation recently! I am the shade NC25, and it covers without requiring two or three layers of makeup, and it really does end up looking quite flawless.

(SPF 15, as well?!? I think so.)

NOTD: Sonia Kashuk "Taunting Teal"

Hello, everyone!

In order to kick start my blog here, I want to share with you all my current nail polish obsession!! Sonia Kashuk's Taunting Teal is the perfect almost-teal-but-not-quite color for fall, and goes great with any outfit! I've only been wearing this for half a day, but I know it will be a regular color in my fall wardrobe! (Figures the best lighting would be in front of unsightly cars... C'est la vie...)

Start at the Beginning

Hello, Everyone!

So it begins. My foray into the blogging world, that is. Even more intimidating is the beauty blogging world! I hope that you will find this blog helpful and fun, but most importantly, I hope it gives you a reason to smile when you see your makeup collection (whether it be dozens of palettes or the power duo of mascara and lipgloss). Doing my makeup and experimenting with color, style, and products is what makes me happy, and I want to share that! :)
