NARS Eyeliner Stylo in Carpates: Swatches and Review!

Hey, guys!

So... I've been on the market for a new liquid liner for a while, and I finally decided to go for the NARS Eyeliner Stylo in Carpates, since I've heard amazing reviews AND I've never owned a NARS product before. So here we go :)

The NARS Eyeliner Stylo has a felt tip that is pretty rigid, so a light hand is very important.

The pigmentation of this is incredible, and it dries to a semi-glossy finish. Because the tip can be very stiff, it's better to lightly drag the liner on the lid rather than try to press down like you would with a brush tip liner.

As you can see, it's very easy to maneuver the eyeliner into swirls and curves, and it provides a pointed line pretty easily. I've never had a liquid eyeliner be this easy to use.

The only drawback to this eyeliner is that it is a PAIN to remove. Even with MAC's Cleanse Off Oil (which has never met its match), I have to be very patient and delicate to get this off. Needless to say, this eyeliner is smudge proof, fade proof, water proof, even makeup remover proof (for a little bit).

As you can see, the lines I was able to make with this eyeliner are very smooth, and they did not require superhuman effort. At $27, this is not the most affordable of eyeliners, and even though I'm not a huge fan of liquid eyeliner, I say go for it. It's kind of my eyeliner of choice lately, and if you're looking to invest in a higher end eyeliner, this one is definitely worth your money.

What's your favorite liquid eyeliner?
xoxo Fanii
