You're Making Me Blush!

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share one of the best blushes I've ever tried. Drugstore blushes have never really done it for me (with one exception), and I've swatched almost all of the blushes at Sephora and Ulta. I don't like shimmer or glitter on my face, and Tarte makes the best matte blushes I've ever tried.
Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in "Natural Beauty" and "Blissful"

"Blissful"
Tarte makes some of the most pigmented blushes out there, which means that they will last you a LONG time. one tap with a blush brush is enough to cover both my cheeks nicely, and the color payoff is just wonderful!

"Natural Beauty"

"Blissful" (left) is a really pretty, natural pink blush, with coral woven into it. I use this when I want to really look like I'm blushing, and not wearing blush. "Natural Beauty" (right) is described on the Tarte website as "Red," but when swatched, this blush goes on as a deep pink. I love this! It's a wonderful, vibrant color to wear on your cheeks.

"Natural Beauty" left, swatched, then blended.
"Blissful" right, swatched, then blended.

These blushes are very buildable, so all you need for a more dramatic pop of color is one more sweep across the cheeks :) As you can see, Blissful looks almost brand new, but I've been using this blush almost every day for about three weeks. See what I mean? Natural Beauty has been with me ever since June or July, and I use this pretty regularly without using it up.
"Flush"
This is on my wishlist!! With the quality that I've gotten from Tarte blushes, I cannot wait to get this one!! I think it will be THE perfect plum blush for winter! Another color that gets a lot of attention from this line is the color "Tipsy," which I don't own:
"Tipsy"
Although it looks very orange in this picture, this blush is supposed to be the best coral blush out there! Tarte blushes are available at Sephora, Ulta, and the Tarte website for $25 (It will be worth the money.)

Have you tried these out??

  1. Flush definitely looks like an interesting color. I tried my first plum color blush this year and I do love the color on cheeks. I haven't tried any of the tart blushes yet! Will need to add them to my wish list.
