NARS Matte Multiple in Siam: Swatches and Review!

This is another one of the things that I picked up around the time of my birthday, and it had spent quite a few weeks in my wishlist on the Sephora website. This is the shade Siam in NARS’ new range of Matte Multiples, which launched not too long ago. These are supposed to be multipurpose products, and are meant for the cheeks and lips. Now, this is kind of a crazy color to wear on your cheeks, but on the lips it would look like a very modern orange red.

I wanted this for the summer because there’s noting that looks prettier to me than a brightly flushed look on the cheeks. Most of the blushes I own are on the pink, peach, or berry side, and I really wanted something red for summer. Boy, did I get it.

I’ve swatched it heavily and then blended. To give you an idea of how little product you need. I swiped it once on the left, tapped my finger in it, and blended that finger on the right. You need a TAP of this to cover your cheeks. I am so in love with this, it’s not even funny.

The only downside to this is that NARS seems to think they can be funny and charge the same price as their original Multiples for half the product. Granted, these are a billion times more pigmented and less likely to run out in the foreseeable future, but that doesn't seem justified to me. They're very, very lucky this shade was the shade of my dreams.

What do you guys think? Is this too bold for you, or did I just put it on your wishlist?
xoxo Fanii
